Hello!
I'm not really sure how many people are actually going to see this blog and I don't think I care. Honestly, I just want an easy way to keep track of all of the wonderful adventures I have while I am abroad.
So I guess the proper way to start this is to explain my journey. I leave in 35 days (holy crap!) to move to Rome for 4 months! I am going to study at the UC Center in Rome to get credits for my classical studies degree at UC Santa Cruz. I have no idea where I'm going to live yet, what classes I'm going to be taking, what I'm going to pack! This is all so spontaneous. I basically figure everything out the day I arrive.
I guess this is a way for anyone who wants to know to know that I'm alive, not homeless, and having a blast. At least, I hope I will.
But the first steps have been taken. I officially have my visa. Now I need to do some research and learn some Italian.
I cannot believe this is my life so far...
